Sharks second rower Nathan Cooper looks to offload in the Sharks loss to Nowra Warriors.

Nowra Warriors bounced back from last weeks surprise loss to Berry by thumping Shellharbour City Sharks at Ron Costello Oval on Sunday.

The Warriors were outstanding, particularly after halftime when they turned an 18-12 lead into a 42-28 win, running in seven tries in the process. They produced two great scoring bursts, one in the first half when they scored three tries in seven minutes and in the second half when they added two tries in three minutes to skip clear.

Halfback Arthur Stewart bagged two tries and was one of his sides best, while Geoff Johnson and Mick Blattner were also outstanding.

Matt Coelho also continued his good form with two tries and four goals for the Sharks and along with Phil Lopez and Andrew Atkins were their sides best.
