WARILLA/Barrack Point SLSC continues to enjoy an outstanding season for the club with two members selected to represent NSW in the recent Australian Interstate Championships held at Middleton, South Australia and another club member picked for the Australian Junior olympic Team.

Representing NSW in the U14s at Middleton, Scott Smith finished 3rd in the swim, 7th in the board and helped his team brinhg home third place in the Cameron Rally, while Jordan White, in the U15s category, took first place in the board rescue, 2nd in both the iron person and tube rescue events and 4th place in the swim.

Lauren Smith took out the Sydney Water Series in kayaking for the 5th year and was selected to represent Australia in the K1 500, K2 1000 and K4 1000 (see separate story page 51).

At the NSW Country SLS Championships at Port Macquarie, Warilla/ Barrack Point SLSC came in as runners up with standout results from the carnival being Emily Ross Kellys U9s 3rd place in the board event and Katie James 2nd in the swim.

In the boys U11s, Jack Carberry took out first place in the swim, board amnd ironman, with club mate Nathan Lomas returning a 2nd place in the swim and Ironman.

Also in the U11s, the swim team brought home a gold medal and board relay earned a 2nd place spot on the podium.

In the girls U11s, Jessica Ross Kelly took out the gold in front of team mate Tegan Jame.

In the U14s, Lytin Basha delivered an outstanding performance claiming gold in the swim, board, and ironperson events.
