Thinking of entering your business in this year’s Tourism Awards? Then this workshop may be for you!

The Tourism Industry Council will be conducting a workshop on Thursday, May 1, for South Coast operators to assist those who are thinking of entering the South Coast or State Tourism Awards this year.

The workshop will be held at the Nowra Golf Club, Fairway Drive, North Nowra, commencing at 10.30am and is free of charge to interested operators.

This year for the first time the South Coast Tourism Awards will cover the whole South Coast from Wollongong to Eden and will mirror the State Awards in their entirety – same categories, same criteria and the same judging system.

Entries to the South Coast Tourism Awards have opened and close on May 9.

The workshop will have two sessions; the morning session will cover how to prepare and write a submission and what is required with the state system and the afternoon session will be one on one sessions with the presenters to discuss your own business entry.

Tourism Shellharbour operators are encouraged to attend this workshop and to enter the awards this year.

All regional category winners automatically go on as a finalist to the state system.

For more information, telephone Tourism Shellharbour on 4221 6169.
