Thrilling outright win for Lake Illawarra’s under 16As on weekend

LAKE Illawarra scored an outright win over The Rail in combined South Coast-Illawarra junior cricket’s under 16A competition on Saturday.
The Lakers scored outright points by an innings and just six runs.
In other 16A matches Warilla scored a first innings win over Kiama, Shellharbour defeated Balgownie by three runs and Wests defeated Thirroul.
In the 16Bs, Wests defeated Thirroul by three runs while Port scored a first innings win over Kiama.
In the 14As Balgownie scored a comfortable first-innings win over Shellharbour, Dapto were too good for Corrimal and Albion Park defeated Keira by 133 runs.
In the under 14Bs, Albion Park Green scored a mammoth innings and 202-run win over Shellharbour, while Albion Park Gold scored a first innings win over Oak Flats.
Gerringong scored a ten-wicket, outright win over Kiama while Warilla Sports and Shellharbour had to settle for a draw.
In the under 12As, Albion Park defeated The Rail by 37 runs while Shellharbour scored a seven-wicket win over Kiama.
Jamberoo’s under 12Bs scored a 37-run win over Albion Park Green in the 12Bs thanks to 30 from Liam Ragen.
Oak Flats were too good for Shellharbour White, Gerringong defeated Kiama and Shellharbour Blue defeated Albion Park Gold.
Shellharbour Silver scored a win over Warilla Sports in the under 10As, while Oak Flats defeated Shellharbour White by ten wickets.
