Mayoress Moira Hamilton helps 3 year old Emily Rostankovski choose an outfit for the Mayoress Charity Fashion Parade on September 8
LOCAL fashion retailers will be strutting their stuff on Friday September 8 when the Mayoress, Moira Hamilton, plays host to her second charity fashion parade on at Shellharbour Workers Club.
The spring fashion spectacular will showcase the latest fashions from childrens wear to casual to evening wear from some of the Citys finest retailers.
Mayoress Moira Hamilton say the charity fashion poarade will not only help lift the profile of our local fashion retailers, but also raise money for local charity.
Proceeds from this years ticket sales and raffles will go to support St Vincent de Paul programs in Shellharbour, including assistance to children and families.
I am thrilled to be hosting this event again as it will provide people with the chance to enjoy some great fashions while helping our community, said Mrs Hamilton.
We raised $4500 last year and with the support from our major sponsor, Alstom and the fantastic support this year from local businesses such as i98FM and the Lake Times, we hope to better that result this year.
The fashions on display will include garments from Harbour Rose, Layla Blu Boutique, Sway, Beach Street Surf Scene and Shellharbour Villages newest childrens store Little Missy and Moo.
The Mayoress Charity Fashion Parade will be held on Friday 8 September from 7pm at Shellharbour Workers Club. The ticket cost is $85 per person and includes a three-course dinner with drinks, and of course the fashion spectacular.
