A sure sign that winter is finally over and spring is definitely in the air is Albion Park Rail Public Schools Annual Spring Fair, which takes place on Friday, September 1 the official first day of spring.
The schools largest and major fund raising activity in the school calender, this years Spring Fair will be the biggest and best yet, according to Fair organisers from the schools parents and teachers..
The Fair will run from 11am to 2pm on Friday at the school and will be packed with food, craft, novelty and other stalls, rides, a chocolate wheel, mystery balloons, face painting, temporary tattoos, plants, trash & treasure and a whole lot more, organisers say.
The famous Spring Fair Auction will also take place, with this years auction items including various framed signed St George sporting memorabilia, a three month membership at Contours Gym, a one hour Just Cruisin Harley Side-car or Trike ride, a Bridge Climb on Sydney Harbour Bridge, dinner for four at Bellachara Restaurant, a family pass for Sydney Tower and Oz Trek, a Paintball Gift voucher, a radio controlled car and a tennis racquet and 1 term of tennis lessons from Illawarra Tennis Academy.
We are very grateful for the enormous support from the local business community, whose generosity has made sure this years Auction will be fantastic, said Leisa Stuart.
This is our major fundraiser for the year and a lot of time, effort and love is put into organising it by both teachers & parents alike.
