Shellharbour City Sharks are a chance of writing a special page in South Coast Rugby League history next Sunday when all four grades will contest the 2006 Grand Finals at Nowra Showground.
No club has ever won all four grades, but the Sharks put themselves in with a chance with three grades winning games at Cec Glenholmes Oval on Sunday, going on to join their Reserve Grade outfit, who had already qualified for the coming Sundays decider.
Sharks Club President Peter Blaine is over the moon at the historical feat.
It was meant to be a rebuilding year but its been a great success thanks to the efforts of all the players and coaches, particularly Head Coaches Peter Ellis and Neil Michell, they have done a great job in their first year, the players are in fine form, Head Trainer Gordon Wilmott has been terrific said Mr. Blaine.
The Shellharbour Sharks are urging all supporters to get behind the four teams and will be running a bus service to and from Nowra Showground at a small fee. Those interested in transport should contact John Costello on 0423031750.
