A MAN of the match performance from Jonothon Ramos and a great supporting role from Mark Picciolini was too much for Tarrawanna to handle in the Illawarra Premier League (IPL) match of the round.

This dynamic duo worked well in tandem all afternoon and shared the two goals between them that allowed Port Kembla win 2-1.

Scores were locked at nil-all at halftime but Port Kembla took control in the second half.

Their reward came in the 65th minute when Picciolini caught Frank Barilla in possession just outside the penalty area, skipped away and squared the ball to Ramos, who made no mistake from close range.

Port Kembla put the game to bed when they scored their second with Ramos this time being the provider and Picciolini the finisher.

Tarrawanna pulled one back through substitute Cameron O'Neil eight minutes from time after a great cross from Beau Cropper.

However, Port Kembla held on, securing the three points and the competition lead they had relinquished for 24 hours.

On Saturday Bulli, Coniston, Dandaloo, South Coast United and Dapto all scored away wins.

Bulli scored a 3-1 win over Albion Park White Eagles at Terry Reserve.

Alan Lo Proto put the heavyweights ahead close to halftime before the hosts were level through an unlucky own goal by Kane Maccabei.

The defender was backpedaling and failed to evade a cross, thundering a header into his own goal.

Bulli reclaimed the lead with ten minutes left when Matt Bailey volleyed home from close range after a pass from Shane McGirr.

Marcello Guerrero secured Bulli's victory with a goal in the 88th minute.

Coniston Lions did just enough to score a 2-1 win over Kemblawarra in the bottom-of-the-table clash.

Scores were level at half time with Siaka Kamara scoring for the home side and Billy Sterjovski for the Lions.

Sterjovski's second goal, scored after the interval, proved to be the winner.

Dapto easily accounted for Kiama, eventually winning 6-nil. First half goals to Darren Cairney, Greg Goodfellow and Christian Zelvis were followed with three more from Chad Bishop 2 and Paul Ryrie.

Dandaloo scored a goal in each half to win 2-0 against Wollongong United at Macedonia Park. Steve Krishna and Ilija Prentoski were the goalscorers for Dandaloo.

Warilla were off to a flier against Souyth Coast United at King Mickey Park, with Javier Ovando on the board after 51 seconds.

The hosts took their 1-nil lead to halftime but United hit back with a three-goal blitz in the 15 minutes after the resumption.

Sasho Dimoski grabbed a brace with captain-coach Michael Santalab also on the score sheet.

Blake Coates scored a late goal for Warilla.

After ten rounds, there is a log jam at the top of the Premier League table with three points separating the top five teams.

Port lead the way on 23 followed by Dandaloo on 22, Bulli and Dapto have 21 and South Coast United are on 20.
