SHELLHARBOUR City Sharks again proved that they are capable of testing minor premiers Albion Park-Oak Flats Eagles, despite losing their way in the final 15 minutes.
The Eagles fought back to win? 32-22 after being fully tested when, after leading 10-0 at halftime, found themselves trailing 16-14 midway through the second half before finishing with three late tries to take the win.
The first half was particularly intense, with tries to winger Reece White and centre Sean Jenkins giving the Eagles a handy lead.
Straight after the break the Sharks stormed back into the game and when classy centre Jamie Manukonga toed the ball ahead to score handing the Sharks a 16-14 lead.
Two tries to the Eagles in quick succession from Sean Jenkins and a rampaging? Darryl Brisbane ensured an Eagles victory.
