THE Albion Park RSL Sub Branch Womens Auxiliary is holding a Spring Fashion Show to raise funds to help support the Ex-Serviceper-sons Benevolent Fund and Local Charities.
The Auxiliary consists of 25 ladies who work hard throughout the year to raise funds for our Veterans, and Various Local Charities.
We are always on the look-out for new members, our ages vary as we have women who have husbands or fathers, who have or are in service for our Country, spokesperson Sheryl Spicer said. All members are volunteers and we endeavour to have a good time, while serving Sausage Sizzles at Bunnings or Morning Teas at the Albion Park RSL Memorial Club for Anzac Day, VP Day, Long Tan Day and so on.. Our Auxiliary has a great bonding, which helps with fund-raising, and has created good friendships between us, especially those who are widows.
We would love to have new members come along to our Auxiliary meetings, the first Tuesday of each month at 7pm.
Those interested in joining, with a wish to make new friends and do worthwhile voluntary work, please ring Sheryl Spicer (Hon, Secretary on 42571681.)
