KIAMA Stingrays Junior Touch Association is preparing for its 20th season, which will kick off in October.

Junior Touch started way back in 1987 with a small contingent of committee members and players.

The competition has come along way and now boasts around 500 playing members and are proud to say they are the largest junior sport in the area.

Kiama Stingrays will hold their AGM on Tuesday, July 24 above the Canteen at the Kiama Leisure Centre Fields from 7pm.

"We would like to take this opportunity to call on willing parents to come forward and put their hands up to help out this year," Stingrays Linda McCauley said.

"All positions will be declared open and we have some parents whose children are no longer able to play junior touch and therefore have done their jobs on the committee.

"This will leave us with a depleted number of members again this season, and many hands make light work."

Stingrays will hold registration dates on August 14 and 21 at the Kiama Rugby Club starting from 5pm to 7pm.

Cost will be $45 for first child then sliding scale for other children.

Ages range from 5 to 18 years male and female. Senior mixed 14-18s are again encouraged to enter full teams or individual nominations will also be accepted.
