AT the recent AGM of Windang SLSC, long-standing members John Scott and Kel Norris were bestowed with the honour of Life membership of the club.
Both John and Kel joined the club as junior parents and have gone on to become patrolling members and committee members holding such prestigious jobs as club captain, treasurer and vice president between them.
Kel joined Windang SLSC in 1989 and John followed in 1992.
Its a great club, thanks to all the enthusiastic members and our major sponsors, Windang Bowling Club and the Lake Illawarra hotel, said Kel.
Were both thrilled to have been honoured with Life membership, said John.
