STEPH Klenke has won his first fight with a second round knock out of Shaun Talbot of Dapto.

Klenke was in supreme condition, which is a result of herd training over the past five months.

Immediately after his debut fight, the 32 year old set about identifying the areas to improve.

I am happy to win, but I was a bit sloppy and I knew I wouldnt out box him, so I went for the knock out, he said.

Now I really have to develop my defence and boxing skill which I am looking forward to, he added.

Meanwhile Blackbutt Boxing team mate Robert Davidson has gone down in his state title fight last weekend at Richmond against Wayne Borg.

Trainer Les Underwood stopped the fight in the second after Robbie was outclassed by a much more experienced opponent.

Will Wilson recorded a great win on the same card against Ismail Osbayrek of Blacktown.

Starting cautiously Will unloaded in the second and third rounds with a series of overhand punches.

Wilson continued his crisp punches into his opponents ribs and with the decision never in doubt recorded for his first win under the Blackbutt banner.
