Kiama Cavaliers 16Bs in strong position against Keira

KIAMA is in a strong position heading into day two of their South Coast-Illawarra Junior Cricket under 16Bs match against Keira on Saturday.
The Cavs racked up an even 200 on day one, led by 77 from David Vanags 77, 45 from Matt Hardy and 35 from Dan Jones.
Meanwhile, Balgownie set Shellharbour 9/159, despite a haul of 3/32 by Daniel Trunzo.
Port Kembla will resume at 1/2 in reply to Wests first innings total of 128.
In the 16As, Warilla (1/1) face an uphill task to reel in Wests first-innings total of 9/181.
Lake Illawarra (2/37) are in a strong position heading into day two of their match against Kiama (87) while The Rail will resume at 1/38 in reply to Shellharbour City’s challenging 170.
In the 14As, day one of Keira’s clash with Kiama at Gainsborough Oval was washed out.
In other matches, Nathan Brown hit 57 for Albion Park (9/147) against Wests and Warilla’s Dan Josevski snared 4/10 against Dapto Gold (132).
In the under 14Bs, Albion Park Green (6/54) face a tricky chase against Gerringong (67). Albion Park Gold (6/159) are on top against Shellharbour White (48) after 43 from Jared Harding and 4/8 and 39 not out from Todd Bridge.
In the under 12As, Matt Arblaster hit 30 not out to guide Albion Park (7/95) past The Rail (7/83) and Kiama (2/59) scored a win over Shellharbour City White (7/56).
In the under 12Bs, Jonathon Yan bagged 3/3 as Oak Flats (0/55) scored a ten-wicket win over Gerringong (54). Albion Park Gold (4/74) scored a six-wicket win over Kiama (8/71), Lake (8/126) defeated Shellharbour White (8/89) while Shellharbour Blue (7/106) were too good for Albion Park Green (7/88).
In the under 10As, Drew Butterfield (30 not out, 3/2) had a great day as Albion Park defeated Shellharbour City White. Aaron Kronburger hit an unbeaten 31 as Oak Flats scored a win over Shellharbour City Silver. Kiama scored a four-wicket win over Gerringong while Shellharbour Blue scored a big win over Warilla.
