THE SOUTH Coast Group 7 under 15s and 16s squads competed in the Country Rugby League Championships at Cootamundra on the weekend.

The under 15 Junior Bulls played two games, the first against Group 20 (Riverina), then the hosts, Group 9.

Their first game was a tough contest from the start but the Junior Bulls finished with a well-earned win against some quality opposition.

In the second game, the Junior Bulls found the size and speed of the Group 9 team too much and unfortunately conceded a large defeat.

Despite the loss the players picked up much-needed experience against elite competition in both games of the carnival which will help them in the fututre.

The team conducted themselves with distinction at the carnival and at dinner arrangements at Gundagai.

The President of the Ex-Services Club that hosted the meals especially commented on their presentation, punctuality and polite nature.

Congratulations to the boys on representing South Coast-Group Seven Rugby League so well.
