(From left) Emma Taylor, Michael Tonagto, Simon Reid, Jack Doyle and Jasmine Ford are enjoying their time at Carmel & Co and have gone on to represent at higher levels.

CARMEL & Co have returned from a very solid performance at the Australian National Championships held at Homebush in Sydney over May 2006.

Level 6 International gymnast Emma Taylor represented NSW at the National Championships and did extremely well with the team finishing 3rd overall.

Fellow Carmel & Co Level 6 International Gymnast Jasmine Ford competed in the individual competition and came an amazing 16th overall, with outstanding performance on floor finishing 9th, and beam finishing 10th!

In the Level 7 open division, Jack Doyle excelled coming 3rd on PBar, 4th on Vault, and 9th overall. Jacks NSW team finished 3rd overall in this division.

In the Junior Division of Level 7, AJ Lovatt did well representing NSW as an individual.

Michael Tonegato and Simon Reid formed an integral part of the Level 8 NSW team to finish 3rd overall.

Simons results were excellent coming 2nd on Pommel, 10th on PBars, Vault and Rings and finished 9th overall.

Simon will now compete in New Zealands National Championships at Christchurch as part of a National Open Levels tour on 24th September.

Head coach Carmel Blades is thrilled with the results of all her gymnasts and gives credit to her coaching staff.
