Giants of the deep wave g’day on their way north
THE whales came out to play last Saturday giving those aboard Captain Ross O’Brien’s boat MV Signa a fantastic performance of tail slaps and breaching as they headed towards The Farm.
The Organisation for the Rescue and Research of Cetaceans in Australia (ORCCA) completed its annual whale census last Sunday, calculating the number and species of whales nationally, with numbers estimated to be up by 10 per cent. Buy photos online visit www.laketimes.com.au
