Dapto Eagles Junior AFL Club will again be competing in the 2010 Illawarra competition and the club is working to make this their most successful year.

In 2009 the club registered 100 children, the highest number of players in the Eagles short history, after the club formed in 2006.

As the popularity of AFL continues to grow, the club is optimistic that this number will steadily increase in the future. For the first time the competition will be held on Sundays, allowing junior league and football players to experience what AFL offers.

The Dapto Eagles Junior AFL Club provides a fun and safe environment for boys and girls to learn and develop the skills required to play Australian Rules football whilst allowing children to gain the fitness and life skills.

This season the Dapto Eagles will field teams in NAB Auskick, Under-9s, Under-11s, Under-13s and Under-15s and youth girls teams in the under-15s and under-18s.

Registration days are being held at the Dapto Mall on February 6 and 14 from 10am to 2pm, and on the February 20 at Thunderbird Chickens from 10am to 2pm.

Registration is $60 a player, $100 for 2 siblings or $150 for 3 siblings or more. For more details contact Melissa Arnold on 0414 656 537.
