ALBION Park Hockey products Todd Unicomb and Dean Nealon had an experience this past summer that most of us wouldnt dream of.

Todd and Dean were part of an under 18 invitational Indoor team that toured Russia, Poland and Germany.

The team featured the best indoor players in NSW in a fast paced sport that has an added excitement, according to Todd.

The game is much faster and more intense compared to outdoor. he said.

Games were played in front of packed houses in one of the coldest winters on record, with stadiums holding up to 5,000 people.

I Never expected it to be like that, but you just have to block it out and not be intimidated. added Todd.

The close mates are set to face off when? Albion Park take on Wests later this year.

Todd plays centre-half for Wests while Dean plays fullback for Albion Park and will be marking Todd during the game.

Dean has this advice for his close friend Get ready to be tackled all day, he knows he will be too.

Unicomb fires back Todd should be prepared to get the ball out of the net as that is the only place it is going.

Both teams are the form sides, with Albion Park favoured to win.
