Shellharbour residents turned out in their thousands for last Friday nights annual Carols by Candlelight concert on the Village Green adjacent to Stocklands Shellharbour shopping mall.
From new born babies to great grand parents, 15,000 people came to enjoy a spectacular variety of local singing and dancing talent to herald in the Christmas season.
A spokesperson for concert organisers, Shellharbour City Council, described it as the best in the history of the event and a superb showcase of local talent.
Anyone who missed the Carols by Candlelight this year will now have to wait until Christmas 2007 to see another one and with planning already underway council urges everyone to put it on their must do list for next year.
