WARILLA'S Carmel and Co will have nine gymnasts travel to Brisbane for the National Championships in July.

The gymnasts qualified after the recent NSW State Championships for Men's Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) Level 6-10 and Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) Level 7-10 at Homebush.

Ben Alhovrita was third overall in MAG Level 6 open, after winning the pommel and third place on the parallel bars.

Nicholas Mortimer won the Level 7 Open category, after victory in the pommel, second on rings and twin third places in the vault and high bar disciplines.

Teammates Steven Iacovelli and Kale Watts also placed well.

Steven won the parallel bars and came seventh overall, while Kale was fourth on rings, vault and high bar to finish eighth overall.

Jack Doyle was third overall in the level 8 open category, including second on the high bar and third on the floor, pommel, rings and parallel bars.

Josh Woll placed consistently on all apparatus to finish sixth overall with teammate Michael Tonegato coming first on high bar, second on Rings and third on vault to finish eighth overall.

In the Boys Elite Divisions, Samuel Davies finished tenth overall in a highly competitive field in Level 6 Age, while A.J. Lovatt finished sixth overall in Level 7 age.

In WAG Level 7, Jerrica Lovatt finished eighth overall and placed on vault. In Level 8 International, Emma Taylor finished fourth overall and Teammate Jasmine Ford fifth overall.

Emma achieved third on bar and floor while Jasmine got fourth on vault and bar.
