After entering a regrouping phase after losing a lot of last years successful squad, Bulli got their first win of the season and a good win at that, when they accounted for Dapto at Dapto Showground 3-1.

David Buchanan, converted to a centre back this season by Coach Adrian Alston, showed that he has lost none of his goal scoring skills in getting his first for his new club.

Further goals were added by Sasho Dimoski and 18 year old Tobin Zoomers.

Friday Night football ended with a rather surprising scoreline of 5-1 to the visitors, Picton Rangers against Coniston Lions.

Picton had played some good football last time out against Port Kembla but without a great deal of luck in losing 3-2.

So to the Picton faithful, this result may not have been such a shock. Pictons goals were scored by Jonothon Passanante 2, Brad Wither 2, and Andrew Borg with Oliver Sekulovski getting the solitary goal for Cono. Both players had a player dismissed during the second half with first, Conistons Luke Mol seeing red for a professional foul and then a few minutes later, Picton lost one of their substitutes Tim Parker for an aggressive challenge.

In an absorbing game at Wetherall Park, two undefeated teams, Port Kembla and Fernhill went hammer and tong for the full 90 minutes before settling for a deserved share of the points.

Both side had a host of chances but in the end only had one goal apiece to show for their troubles. Mark Picciolini gave Port the lead early in the second half before Monty Pfrengle grabbed the equaliser on 70 minutes with an outstanding free kick that gave the GK absolutely no hope. 1-1 the final score.

Title aspirants, Cringila Lions had to work extremely hard at Tarrawanna Oval to collect the three points on offer while it took a long while for Dandaloo to turn their dominance into goals against Warilla Wanderers but eventually ran out winners 6-0 after only leading 1-0 at the break.
