Premiers Milton-Ulladulla Bulldogs, almost unbelievably, are still without a win after succumbing to Gerringong Lions in a high scoring match by 34-26 at Mollymook Oval on Saturday.
The injury weakened Bulldogs were looking at the Lions as a potential first win for the season, but the absence of several players made their task more difficult against a fresh Gerringong team who had the bye last week.
Fullback Jason White, on loan from the St George Illawarra Jersey Flegg team scored a hat-trick, while centre Lloyd Bowen also played impressively and finished with a double, while they were well supported by Dave Cummins and Daniel Gleeson.
Bulldogs fullback went close to matching Whites efforts with a double, while Nathan Barry, Tom Cook and Adam Stone were best for the Bulldogs.
