Local athletes Rachelle Grozde and Joshua Bingham have returned from the National Little Athletics titles with a bag of medals.
Rachelle is National Champion after placing first in the shot-put and made it a double by also winning the discus. She also came 6th in the javelin.
She competes in the Under 13s for Albion Park Little As where she has been a member for the last five years and qualified for the nationals after retaining her State shot-put crown at the State titles at Homebush in March.
Joshua also shone for the locals, winning a bronze in the 4 x 100m and credible 5th in the triple jump and 7th in the hurdles against hot competition.
A third member from the South Coast, Talissa Scott gained a silver medal in the Under 15 multi event.
