THE Brown family have added a hint of black to their sporting exploits, after twins Erryn and Ashlie both 13-years-old and 10-year-old Dylan, passed their black belt grading at Wollongong University recently.
The trio were required to demonstrate patterns, kicking, striking, board breaks and free sparring against multiple opponents.
Having trained out of the Albion Park Rhee Tae Kwon-Do centre for the past three years, their Instructor Rachel Fogg can still recall their first visit to the centre as being quite shy and tentative.
Since then the progression has resulted in confidence, respect, fitness, balance and a belief in themselves thanks to studying the art.
