THE Super Divaz from the Academy of Cheerleading have again shown an outstanding performance at the Australian Cheerleading Championships where a total of 40 teams competed on September 25 and 26.
After placing second in their Cheers & Stunts routine, third in their Pom routine and second overall at the NSW State Championships, the Super Divaz placed First in their Cheers & Stunts routine at the australian Championships.
The yalso took out fourth spot in the Pom routine and fourth overall in the National Championships Hot Shots Division
The Super Starz also competed at the event ina higher division called the All Stars,and placed eighth in both routines and overall.
Head coach Cristine Gomes, who has been teaching cheerlleading for three years was very pleased with the clubs results.
Considering this is the first year that these girls have done cheerleading, and the fact that they have only been training together for seven months, this in an exceptional achievement, Cristine said.
The girls are sponsored by Block rockers who compile their music and Cristine says their support has been invaluable in helping the girls achieve so much in such a short time.
