WHAT better way to make the most out of a testing situation than with an evening of fun and fashion?

Kylie, Ashleigh and Tamara have been a tight knit trio for some time, dancing together and hanging out. Even their parents are great friends!

To look at all three are happy, healthy young ladies however 14 year old Tamara Bianco is in the midst of the biggest fight of her life.

Tamara was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Neuroblastoma in 2003, she spent nine months in treatment and got the better of her cancer. Tamara and her family and friends then enjoyed two and a half years while her cancer was in remission

Last October the unthinkable happened for Tamara and her family. They learned the cancer had returned and this time doctors said there was nothing they could do.

Determined not to give up Tamara is undergoing an alternate treatment plan involving Chinese herbal tablets, acupuncture and an organic diet. Her mother Cathy credits Tamara's continued good health to these treatments.

"We don't know where this will lead but at the moment Tamara is doing well," Cathy said.

These treatment options do not come cheap to the Bianco family. It can not be claimed back on health insurance and is setting the family back $190 a week and up to $600 some weeks depending on the combination of tablets prescribed by the herbalist.

Kylie and Ashleigh wanted to help and have been putting countless hours into organising a fashion parade.

They didn't tell Tamara right away preferring to firm up the details before surprising her.

The fashion parade is set to be held on May 26 in the hall of Tamara's school St Joseph's Catholic High School in Albion Park.

Tickets will go on sale soon however for now Kylie and Ashleigh are asking for donations. The pair will be drawing a raffle on the night and are asking for your help with prize donations.

If you would like to lend your support to Tamara, Kylie and Ashleigh's fashion parade give Kylie a call on 0423 683 896.
